Credit Controller - Annesley, North Nottingham - £25,000 per annum
We are on the hunt for a Credit Controller to work for an ambitious business based near Annesley, North Nottingham, on a permanent basis.
The organisation is proud to have developed a fantastic working environment with committed, personable and enthusiastic staff; as a result, they haven't had to recruit in several years. Due to business growth they are looking to expand their Credit Control function and hire a likeminded individual to grow and be part of their successful business. They are a very interesting organisation who have been highly recommended on social media and are known within the market for being an 'employer of choice'.
Working in a supportive team environment you will be responsible for managing a range of customer accounts, ensuring outstanding debt is collected in a timely manner along with analysing credit risk.
Collecting outstanding debt via telephone and email
Setting up new customer accounts including monitoring credit limits
Investigating and resolving customer queries
Working closely with the sales team to ensure accounts remain from going on stop
Allocating payments and reconciling the bank
Monitoring the aged debtor report
Assisting the Credit Control Manager with closing the ledger and month end
Providing cover to the sales ledger team i.e. processing of sales invoices.
Previous experience working as a Credit Controller within a team environment
Proven track record of managing a range of accounts and building rapport with customers
Sound knowledge of MS Excel
Personable, proactive and highly organised
Excellent telephone manner and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
