Cherry Professional are recruiting for an expanding business, based near Strelley (Nottingham), who are seeking to employ an Credit Controller on a permanent basis.
This role presents a brilliant opportunity to work in a well-established finance team for an exciting business who have grown through acquisition in the recent years.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Credit Controller will be responsible for managing a range of customer accounts, improving credit control efficiencies and ensuring cash flow remains strong.
Collecting and chasing outstanding debt
Raising invoices and credit notes
Allocating cash and reconciling accounts
Resolving customer queries
Reporting on debtor status, bad debt and unapplied cash
Meeting with customers to agree and set payment plans, if necessary
Agreeing credit terms and limits with new customers and monitoring existing accounts.
Previous experience within an end to end Credit Control role
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport at all levels
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Good ERP experience, preferable NAV, SAP or something similar
Excellent organisational skills and have the ability to meet deadlines
Strong knowledge of debt processing and Credit Control procedures.
