Cherry Professional are recruiting for a thriving business who are a leader in their sector, they are looking to recruit a credit manager on a fixed term contract basis to ensure the prompt and efficient collection of money, with 1 direct report.
To manage Credit Controller in order to proactively close a monthly collection, with as few late
payments as possible
Raising manual non goods invoices / credits
New account set up
To help maintain the pricing system so that accurate invoices and collections can be made when
discounts and promotions are in effect or when price increases occur
Maintaining material master data
Bad Debt Provision in line with the group credit management policy
Monthly reporting in line with the group credit management policy
Allocate credit limits and maintain cover in line with credit insurance policy
Ensure sales orders are released/ held as per credit insurance and company policy in a timely manner with all parties fully informed
The Successful Applicant:
Background of working as a credit manager/credit supervisor - able to manage and motivate a small team
Strong communication skills, including ability to build relations across the business
Ability to work at speed and with accuracy
Positive enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude
Good excel skills
Well organised with strength in prioritising
Good negotiation skills in order to handle sales and retail customers;
Able to work semi-autonomously and flexibly
High level of accuracy and good attention to detail
