Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a dynamic and forward thinking Business Development Manager for their Nottingham based client. You will assist with the management and development of both new and existing advisor relationships and support with the dealings of the sales office including; dealing with all inbound contact, literature requests, preparation of marketing materials and aiding with the planning, implementation and execution of business plans.
The successful candidate will work in tandem with one of the outbound sales people for the purpose of maximising revenues for defined postcode regions. The role's focus is within telephone sales.
Responsibilities & Duties:Providing ongoing management of existing clients, as well as the identification and contact of potential new supporters
Set high performing targets
Generating opportunities and demonstrate the ability to add value through ongoing client support
Continually develop an understanding of the market through telephone and field activity
Organising advisor appointments and following up when required
Creating and executing business plans for their defined region
Continual professional development through the completion of market recognised qualifications
Qualifications and Experience Requirement:2-3 years sales experience, preferably within a recruitment or financial services background
Educated to a degree level
Excellent interpersonal and written skills
A self-starter attitude, demonstrating personal development and a desire to progress quick
Good attention to detail
Ability to go above and beyond
