BUSINESS ANALYST - Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst for their client based in Annesley, Nottingham. The role will suit an ambitious, self-starter who wants to take a pivotal role in improving business processes and efficiency within the company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Support and enhance the SAP B1 business system
Liaise with external suppliers for escalation and troubleshooting of issues
Administer user authorisations, and ensure security and backup processes are in place and tested on a regular basis, with the assistance of IT
Accurately record and resolve all day to day issues, directly or via the support partner
Plan and implement a managed schedule for upgrading as required working with key stakeholders in the business
Lead SAP B1 business improvement team and identify and implement opportunities for SAP B1 process improvement across all business and cost centres
Work with the sales and marketing team to improve the CRM and opportunity management process to ensure the business has an accurate and usable sales funnel
Act as data protection representative to ensure data protection legislation is adhered to
Implement and maintain data capture processes and systems to ensure the data is accurate and up to date
Support marketing campaign requirements to provide data insight, to ensure accurate data targeting and to obtain data from external sources as required
Produce reports for senior management, in both Excel and dashboard format
Maintain and deliver user training programmes
Lead and support continuous improvement activities

The ideal candidate will have:

Degree or equivalent or relevant professional experience
Logical, methodical and meticulous, bringing a structured approach to problem solving
High level of computer literacy
Naturally inquisitive with strong analytical skills
Proactive and self-motivated
Confident communicating with colleagues with excellent verbal and written skills
The ability to work to deadlines, along with a flexible approach
Ambitious, keen to learn and have the drive to lead and develop the role
