Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible in assisting with the smooth running of the finance department.
Processing purchasing invoices and orders
Inputting purchase invoices into the system
Organising supplier payments
Generating sales invoices
Chasing outstanding and overdue invoices
Reconciliation of statements
Assisting the Financial Controller with the month end close down.
A minimum of two years' experience working within a finance function
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Experience with Sage 200 or Sage 50 would be beneficial but not essential
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational skills and have the ability to meet deadlines.
Competitive salary of £18,000 to £22,000 per annum (DOE)
