Accounts Assistant | South Derby | Temporary 3-6 months - £12 - £15 ph. 
Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy and thriving business in South Derbyshire.   This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small accounts function where you will be involved in a variety of finance related duties. 

The role 
Raising sales invoices on operational system (Job Logic) and posting to accounts system (Orderwise)
Chasing for POs for completed work
Resolving customer queries
Importing sales transactions onto customer portals as required
Chasing customer debt and providing back up information as required
Supporting sales and operational staff with sales data
Allocating cash receipts on sales ledger
Sending out customer statements
Opening new customer accounts
 Querying and resolving any disputed invoices
Allocating cash payments on purchase ledger
Supplier statement reconciliation
Ad hoc reporting and analysis to assist Finance Manager and Finance Director

The ideal candidate 
Attention to details
Tenacious (eg for resolving credit control issues)
Happy to challenge (eg purchase ledger items that don’t seem to be correct)
Professional manner
Willing to assist with one-off tasks
Good Excel skills (nothing too advanced, but able to sort, filter, summarise data and check that data integrity is retained)
