Account Manager | Burton-on-Trent | 6 Month FTC | £19,000 (£24,000 OTE)

Cherry Professional are working alongside a vibrant and exciting, Burton based business to recruit a bubbly and outgoing Account Manager. Working in a truly brilliant environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing great account management for clients via phone, email, and face to face. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone at the start of their year with a passion for building and maintaining strong and positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively support our account base via phone to maximise business.
Secure volume and support business growth by optimising product mix.
Giving brilliant service and meeting customer expectations.
Develop a deep understanding of client & consumer requirements.
Identify and maximise business opportunities to generate profit and deliver business success.
Add your personality into your role!
Contribute to our wider business goals by doing your role to the best of your ability.
Add value by using initial benefit statements, gap analysis and effective sales closing techniques.
Focus on effective interactions.
Actively build and maintain great relationships.
Liaise effectively with Field Operations, Internal Support Teams and suppliers in order to achieve results.

Person Specification:
Customer focused – Ability to listen and respond to customers providing a quality service.
Effective working relationships - Ability to work in a team by demonstrating flexibility, a fun attitude and the ability to share knowledge.
Planning, organising and flexibility – Organised & able to work in a fast paced and changeable environment.
Problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Communicating and influencing - Ability to communicate with personality on the telephone and in writing.
Commercial awareness and industry knowledge.
Experience of working within Pub/Restaurant/Retail/Sales/Leisure/Tourism/Hospitality/Service industry desirable.
