Production Manager| Up to £55000 per annum| West Hallam | Excellent Benefits |
As a Production Manager you will lead a team to ensure the daily targets are met in a safe and efficient manner, collaborating with other Supervisors and Managers along the way. You will optimise productivity and uphold safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the activities of your department, including liaising with other departmental supervisors and management to ensure a safe and tidy working environment compliant with Company specification to meet Company and client requirements
- Manage attendance and timekeeping and escalate when necessary
- Ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety regulations
- Development and delivery of risk assessments
- Create SOPs to ensure all tasks within the factory areas have set procedures which are followed by all Production personnel
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping are met
- Monitor and achieve productivity targets
- Ensure all equipment and tools are in full working order
- Hold daily briefings and team meetings to keep personnel up to date and on track
- Proactively communicate with the management team to identify and resolve any arising or identified issue
- Maintain high standards for working practices, attitudes and behaviours
Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous experience of working in a supervisory role
- Experience working with concrete or heavy Manufacturing essential
- Experience in concrete/pre-cast sector would be beneficial but is not required
- Experience of quality control processes
- Knowledge of production processes
