Are you a Qualified Accountant with a passion for driving financial excellence and leading high-performing teams? We are working exclusively with this Business Services company to find their new Financial Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role, working closely with the Finance Director & CEO to shape and strengthen the financial success of their business.
What You’ll Do as Financial Controller…
• Lead and inspire the Finance Team to deliver accurate, timely and insightful financial information.
• Ensure robust financial controls are in place across the company.
• Partner with Departmental Managers, coaching and supporting them to build financial confidence and capability.
• Drive the preparation of budgets, forecasts, capital appraisals and statutory accounts.
• Oversee liaison with auditors, government bodies and other key stakeholders.
• Contribute strategically to the wider business through reports, KPIs and management insight.
What We’re Looking For…
We’re seeking someone who is not just technically excellent, but also a strong leader and communicator.
• You will be Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• You will have Advanced financial IT skills (especially Excel).
• You will have experience managing audits, controls and compliance.
• Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and KPI data.
• A proven ability to manage, motivate and develop people.
• Confidence to work collaboratively across all levels of the business.
