Job title: Finance Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and take ownership of key financial processes. Based onsite in Tipton, this is a hands-on role where your skills will directly support the financial health and growth of the business.
What You’ll Be Doing: Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll play a vital role in managing the day-to-day financial operations, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate financial data across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Finance Director with all aspects of the finance function
- Assisting with year-end accounts and audits
- Helping produce and analyse management accounts
- Preparing and posting journals (accruals/prepayments)
- Balance sheet and control account reconciliations
- Handling intercompany recharges and reconciliations
- Posting bank payments and receipts
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Reviewing purchase invoices and supplier statements
- Assisting with VAT returns and payroll processing
- Providing occasional support with incoming calls
What We’re Looking For:
- AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience (minimum 3+ years in accounting)
- Previous experience in an SME environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
