Preston | Site Financial Controller | £55-60k plus bonus + benefits + flexible working | Qualified OR QBE
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller / Site Controller to oversee financial operations at a key manufacturing site. This role involves preparing financial results, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. The succesful candidate will act as a true Business Partner to the senior team, providing decision support and advice in all aspects of the operation
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end closures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support business targets.
- Oversee the CAPEX process, ensuring effective management of investments and resources.
- Act as a business partner and financial advisor to the site management team, highlighting trends and risks.
- Optimise financial reporting and operations through systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualified OR Qualified by experience
- Manufacturing & costing experience.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
