I am currently working with a business based in Liecester that are looking for a Systems Accountant to join their team.
This hybrid role provides flexibility, allowing you to work from home 2 days a week after an initial 2-month office-based training period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial systems and processes, ensuring accurate reporting and system efficiency.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure seamless integration and system improvements.
- Produce monthly management accounts and reports, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Support with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Work with the wider business to allocate revenue and expenses accurately across divisions.
- Provide insight into financial performance and assist with key decision-making processes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Systems Accountant or in a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting processes.
- Experience in the motor industry would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
- QBE / QB / Qual
The salary for this role is between £40,000 – £53,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
