Cherry Professional are working with a boutique Accountancy Firm based in Derby that are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Both Part – Time and Full – Time hours will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial accounts for a range of clients
- Preparing and filing tax returns (Corporation Tax, VAT, and Income Tax)
- Managing a portfolio of clients and liaising with them regularly
- Ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations and tax laws
- Reviewing and supervising junior staff members
- Providing support with audits and other ad-hoc client queries
About You:We’re looking for someone with experience in accounts preparation and tax returns, with one of the following qualifications:
- Part-Qualified (PQ) or Qualified by Experience (QBE) accountants are welcome to apply.
Key skills and experience include:
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise directly with clients
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing deadlines
