We are currently recruiting a Temporary Accounts Assistant for a well established and expanding business based in Castle Donington.  This role is reporting directly into the Transactional Manager, responsible for covering both purchase ledger and sales ledger duties.  This is an ongoing role for at least 3 months to assist with the extra workload within the departments.  The position also offers hybrid working after training. 

Responsibilities:

Processing purchase invoices
Gaining authorisations and organising purchase orders 
Generating sales invoices 
Updating the ledgers with payments 
Assisting with cash collections of overdue payments 
General assistance within the finance function 

Ideal Candidate: 

Previous experience within a finance function 
Good IT skills with a good working knowledge Excel
Team Player 
Good communicator at all levels
Organised and good attention to detail
