We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on a ongoing temporary basis to support a well established business in Matlock. This role is reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller and would suit someone who is currently studying their AAT.
Responsibilities:
Assisting in preparation of accounts
Processing of period end journals
Prepayments and accruals
Accounting for cash payments and receipts
Supplier statement reconciliations
Support to company payroll
Support to procurement and purchasing
Bank reconciliations
VAT and PAYE returns
Ideal candidate:
Previous experience within a accounting function
Team player
Good attention to detail
Strong communication skills
IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel
