Supply Chain Coordinator | Derby | 6 Months Fixed Term Contract | £35,000
Cherry Professional are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator for a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaboration with external and internal supply chain partners, including liaising with project teams, functional leads and all of the supply chain’s stakeholder groups to ensure the required progress. You will drive continuous improvement of the Goods Received Not Invoiced arena, as well as driving improvements in invoice queries and generate KPI reports on a range of supply chain topics
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a purchasing or commercial role (Desirable)
Minimum 1 years’ ability to understand and interpret supplier T&Cs (Desirable)
CIPS or working towards (Desirable)
Intermediate IT literacy skills
The finer elements of the role include:
- Establishing collaborative, water-tight relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with supply chain, procurement and logistics resources in preparation for KPI reviews
- Proactive, preemptive expediting of components and materials to meet product and customer needs, resulting in optimising the flow of materials
- Examining GRNI queries and processing to resolution and continuous improvement of the process
- Carrying out a range of supply chain project support duties to underpin supply chain change projects
- Developing standard policies, procedures, and works instructions for the above
- Assuring timely processing and distributing of inbound supply data as well as a KPI reports
- Liaising with different stakeholder groups around error resolution and process drift
- Liaise with Stores to ensure GRNI issues are minimised
- Resolve invoice accuracy issues
- Communicate with internal stakeholders around interruptions to supply
- Provide project and programme management support to the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics
