A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a strong relationship builder to join a City Centre based business within their Customer Relationship team. This business thrives from customer feedback, so the successful candidate will be pivotal in the strategy of guidance and advice. As a forward-thinking company known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence, their clients are at the heart of everything they do, and they pride themselves on their ability to anticipate needs and exceed all expectations. As a Client Relationship and BD Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business, and you’ll be the bridge between experts and valued clients, ensuring seamless communication and top-notch service!

What we’re looking for:

– A dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in the legal sector
– Previous experience in a BD or client-facing role, ideally within a professional services environment
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence
– A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also take the initiative and work independently
– Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced setting
– Able to work under pressure – demonstrating effective time and project management skills and the ability to manage conflicting timescales and priorities
– Demonstrate a professional approach in terms of commitment and internal client care
– Strong verbal communication and able to articulate to a high standard
– Strong written skills and a passion for detail
– Resilience and focus on delivery
– Proficient in Microsoft Office

The finer elements of the role include:

– Following up with client partners/teams to encourage and remind them to contact their clients regarding review
– Complete/move forward client service plans
– Collating the monthly and yearly Exec reports, and quarterly reporting into the board meetings
– Building first draft slide decks for presentations for away days and team as required
– Logging activity on internal system
– Keeping powerhouse strategy pages up to date and feed content through other internal communication
– Supporting management with major public sector frameworks
– Supporting on related pitches, capability statements and materials that are required for client BD meetings, often to tight deadlines
– Updating and uploading specific content to the Intranet and providing reporting metrics
– Co-ordinating attendance at specific business related dinners and awards nights
– Helping to manage BD budgets and invoice tracking and processing
– Building/editing surveys
– Setting up meetings/training events
– Supporting on legal directory and award submissions
– Offering support to the wider Client & Marketing team as and when required
