Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Nottingham | Permanent | Up to £42,000
Cherry Professional are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ensuring all machinery is maintained and repaired. Identify and implement process and machine developments & install infrastructure to enable current and planned plant to operate.
Working hours: 8 hour shifts, working Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all machinery and equipment (specifically electrical) is maintained to a safe standard, giving due regard to any legislation regarding health and safety, and reporting any faults immediately to line management.
• Carry out emergency repairs, outside of normal office hours.
• Ensure monthly maintenance schedules are completed satisfactorily and where possible to use the data to predict failures and rectify them before they occur
• Identify and ensure availability of critical spares.
• Ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe manner and report any deviations immediately to line management
• Maintain confidential any information regarding the design and operation of machinery and equipment
• Maintain a general awareness of external machinery developments and recommend future developments with are likely to benefit the company.
• Carry out any other reasonable task requested by the management.
Ideal Candidate:
• 18th Edition IET wiring regulations
• Electrical Installations and understanding wiring diagrams.
• Electronics experience
• PLC Design and programming background
• Install and commission Drive Systems knowledge
