Here at Cherry Professional we are searching for a new Finance Manager to work for our client for their highly motivated, inclusive, and productive fulfilment team that delivers high-quality, cost-effective service and support to our colleagues in operations, commercial teams, and the overall network.
We’re looking for someone who wants to understand the nuts and bolts of how the business operates.
About the Role
- Producing short reports and analyses on a subject which can be easily understood will be second nature to you, as will your confidence and experience in supporting and liaising with our senior management team.
- Reporting to our Financial Controller of Fulfilment, the Finance Manager will collate and report weekly volume, revenue, and gross margin accounting/operational information, as well as the day-to-day and month-end reporting.
- The Finance Manager will also work in partnership, supporting our operational and account management teams to ensure our data billing and customer services teams are of the highest standard.

Essential Skills
Who we’re looking for:
- You’ll be an experienced business or financial professional at a similar level, ideally with a logistics or similar background with a strong focus on developing relationships with your colleagues.
- You’ll possess advanced Excel skills.
- Experienced in financial procedures, management accounts, ledgers, accruals, and prepayments.
- Confidence to question and challenge our data and processes, excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills, able to investigate and analyse data, identify trends and anomalies, and help to determine their cause.
- Dynamic and self-motivated, able to work autonomously with experience in managing conflicting demands.
Qualifications:
Ideally, part or fully ACCA or AAT; however, strong QBE candidates are very welcome to apply.
