Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer| Mansfield| Salary – £41500| 6 Month FTC| 35 days holiday
Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Civil Engineering company. They are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their close knit and thriving team. This is a great opportunity to get involved in multiple and a wide variety of projects.
 
Responsibilities:

• Subcontractor management and client engagement
• Reading, interpreting, and providing clear communication of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements etc.
• Ensuring that the setting out is accurate, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site.
• Liaise with the clients site team to communicate all project requirements.
• Technical responsibility relating to projects on site including (but not limited to) reading and interpretation of all construction drawings
• Effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programme deadlines are met.
• Developing effective relationships and dealing with clients and subcontractors.
• Working closely with all other team members to ensure that the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to during your project phase on site.

 
Ideal Candidate:

• Sound client liaison experience and being commercially aware
• Experience with Section Agreements 278, 38, 185 and 104
• Fully conversant in the use of software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D
• Hands on approach, with a desire to remain engaged in design, project management and delivery
• Good organisation, communication, and presentation skills
• You will have 3 + years’ experience in the industry and have an aspiration to start a new and exciting chapter in your career
