Workshop Engineer | £28k – £32k (plus OTE up to £43k) | Nottingham
Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3pm

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Engineer to join a market leading business based in Nottingham. The successful candidate will join a close knit and thriving team and be responsible for the maintenance, repair and optimisation of machinery and equipment within the business workshop

What we’re looking for:

– A technical background from within Materials Handling or similar
– Previous experience and qualifications from a similar role
– Experience working on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
– Good attitude with the ability to stay motivated and productive
– A customer focused perspective and approach
– Work independently on sites in a safe manner taking into account both your own and other people’s safety

The finer elements of the role include:

– Diagnosing faults with machinery
– Repairs as necessary to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose
– Fault Finding
– Perform regular maintenance and inspection
– Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
– Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work
– Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on vehicles and equipment
