Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant seeking an immediate opportunity in Nottingham?
Cherry Professional is proud to represent our client, a leading education provider based in Nottingham, in their search for a dedicated and skilled Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a temporary position that requires your immediate availability and fully on-site.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the purchase ledger.
Raise invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.
Manage payment runs and process credit card transactions.
Prepare bank payments and authorised intercompany transfers.
Respond promptly to any queries related to the finance department.
 
About You:
Proven background working within a full finance function.
Strong analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to solve problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using MS packages, particularly Excel, and familiarity with other finance systems.
High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Exceptional organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
