Cherry Professional are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Credit Manager to work for a thriving and well established business based between Nottingham and Derby.  
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to opportunity to join a highly recognised business and develop and utilise their skill set at management level. Reporting directly into the Head of Finance/Operations, with a team of credit controllers.
 
Responsibilities:

Managing and overseeing the credit and billing function 
Leading and supervising a team of Credit Controllers
Looking at continuous process improvement 
Reporting and sharing data metrics
Improving and managing company debtors – visiting and negotiating with customers accordingly
Updating key business stakeholders on various reportings
Being the point of escalation for queries
Developing and reviewing policies within the department 

Ideal candidate:

Excellent team management skills, with at least 3 years experience managing a credit control and billing function
IT skills with a good working knowledge of excel
Able to develop and build relationships internally and externally
Able to prioritise own workload
Work to set deadlines and targets
