Grants Officer | Rotherham | £27,107+ | 29 days AL + statutory + 10% pension | Travel as required
Do you have experience as a Grants Officer identifying funding opportunities and writing compelling applications to secure funding for projects from a range of sources? Then this role could be for you! This is a role where you can obtain exposure to major funders such as National Lottery, Sport England, central government and local authorities as well as smaller grants and trusts.
Cherry Professional is proud to assist a nonprofit organization that deliver essential and recreational social facilities in local communities by providing guidance and support. The successful candidate will be working in a fantastic team of 2 to contribute in the planning and delivery of marketing and communication activity.
Role: Grants Officer
Location: Rotherham, office based
Salary: £27,107+

This job includes:

• Secure income through funding applications to a range of large and small scale funders
• Write high quality and compelling applications
• Identify new and existing opportunities that meet organizational priorities
• Produce reports for a range of internal and external stakeholders including management teams and external funders
• Promote opportunities and highlight the success through relevant marketing and communication activity
• Represent the organization at events and meetings as required
• Work within a flexible timeframe to meet the demands of the service which include outside the usual 9-5 hours and considerable travel
