Credit Controller

Credit Controller | Derbyshire | £24k

We are currently partnering with a respected company in Chesterfield to find a dedicated Credit Controller. If you have a passion for managing financial transactions and have a knack for ensuring timely payments, we encourage you to apply for this role

Responsibilities: 

Building and maintaining relationships with customers 
Collection of Sales Ledger cash 
Customer Queries
Customer file maintenance 
Allocating payments received
Chasing overdue debt by telephone 
Referring to Legal 

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in credit control or a related financial role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work well under pressure.
Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and laws.
Able to stand alone when required 
Able to work in a team
