Senior FP&A Manager | Nottingham | £65,000 + bonus | 12 Month FTC

Are you a qualified accountant (ideally ACA) with an extensive track record in leading high performing FP&A teams?

Could you take full ownership of group reporting, annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles?

Do you have proven experience of presenting and explaining the narrative to senior business stakeholders?

If so, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you…

We are working exclusively with one of Nottingham’s leading businesses to hire an experienced FP&A Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

As the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and delivery of the FP&A function. This includes monthly, quarterly & annual reporting, as well as budgeting, forecasting and analysis, which ultimately supports the business partners and senior leadership with strategic decision making. You are also responsible for leading, mentoring and developing a team of 5 qualified and part-qualified Finance Analysts. As leader of the FP&A Team, you are expected to take ownership of financial results, defining the narrative and presenting to the UK Senior Leadership Team.

To be considered for this opportunity you must be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA/big4 background, however those who are CIMA or ACCA qualified will also be considered. You must have spent at least 2 years in a similar role, where you have been leading a high performing team, owning the reporting cycle and presenting to senior stakeholders, within a large organisation. Ideally, you’ll be able to instill a high performance culture with a motivational, coaching and goal-setting approach to leadership.

In return you’ll be working for a first-class business, where you’ll be surrounded by great people. They also offer an excellent range of benefits, including a tailored retention bonus for this contract. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic you’ll be remote working until early 2021, when there is likely to be a phased return to the office.

Due to Covid-19 please expect increased waiting times with all applications
