Cherry Professional are currently working with a North Nottingham based organisation to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis.

If you work in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that supplier invoices are processed in an accurate and timely manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring that payments are made in accordance with supplier terms.  You will work as part of a large Purchase Ledger team who work incredibly hard, but have fun as they do.

Key Duties of the role include: -

Ensure supplier invoice are processed accurately.
Matching invoices to purchase orders.
Making payments in line with supplier terms.
Supplier statement reconciliations.
Bank reconciliations.
Resolve queries with suppliers.
Work closely with internal stakeholders.
Ensure best practice is adhered to.
Process improvements to ensure efficiencies.

The Perfect Candidate will have: -

Significant experience of working within a Purchase Ledger function.
Strong excel skills. 
Foreign exchange experience.
Excellent communication and organisation skills.
Problem solving experience.
