Sales Ledger / Credit Controller - Nottingham - Up to £25k DOE

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger/Credit Controller to join a thriving business based close to Nottingham City Centre.  You will have sole responsibility for looking after the general sales ledger function as well as having a focus on chasing outstanding debts.   This position is on a 9 month maternity cover contract and will initially be based from home, with a phased return to the office.


Preparing daily sales invoices as well as annual billings to large group companies, as well as credit notes where necessary
Producing sales reports, along with monthly billing processes
Collection of customer payments and ensuring debts are kept to a minimum
Carrying out customer and supplier credit checks
Allocating receipts on to the system, along with banking cheques
Calculating employee expenses
Bank Reconciliation work
Various duties alongside the Financial Controller

Ideal Candidate: 

Previous experience working within a finance department with the emphasis on sales ledger
Good communication skills
IT literate with a good working knowledge of excel
Team player
Strong organisational skills
