Cherry Professional are currently working with an employer of choice in Derby to recruit a Pay and Reward Specialist on a permanent basis.

Working as part of a wider HR team, you will take full responsibility and have full autonomy to shape the pay and reward strategy.  You will have a good mix of project and BAU experience as well as strong numeracy and systems skills to be successful in this role.  Strong employment legislation knowledge to ensure that all changes to pay and reward strategy are legally compliant is also important for the successful candidate.

You will pull on your extensive knowledge in designing and implementing reward strategies and policies to initially analyse and assess the organisations pay structures and policies.  You will also build strong relationships with relevant stake holders and union representatives.

Key Duties

- Provide expert advice and guidance on all pay and reward matters
- Manage all key deliverables for pay and reward projects
- Liaise with Union representatives
- Manage cyclical review of reward and benefit schemes
- Ensure that reward strategies form part of the attraction and retention strategy of employees
- Keep up to date with all pay and reward employment legislative changes

Required / Desirable Experience

- Highly developed HR legislation knowledge
- Job Evaluation 
- Project Management
- Ability to analyse large data sets 
- Pay Gap Reporting
- Exceptional IT skills
- Degree educated
- CIPD Qualified or extensive and relevant experience
