We are supporting a rapid-growth business in Leicester, where revenues have increased from £3m to £25m over the last 5 years, in their search for an Assistant Accountant. This business is becomming a market leader, has a global presence and works with some of the worlds most recognisable brands. 
 
The Assistant Accountant role is varied and requires someone who is happy to pick up a broad range of responsibilities. You can expect to be preparing monthly management accounts, posting journals, accruals, prepayments, budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc analysis, however you must also be open to chipping in with processing invoices and some transactional work, where necessary. You'll be joining the team during a transitional period, as they are building a "high performance culture" and driving process improvments, which you will be expected contribute to. 
 
This role requires a self-starter, who is highly motivated and able to use their own initiative. You’ll be a career-minded, aspiring Accountant (ideally ACCA or CIMA part-qualified) with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role and exposure to management accounts, accruals and prepayments. If you're prepared to work hard and willing to put in the hours, you'll be rewarded with opporuntites to develop and progress within a growing business.

Whilst the role is initially temporary, it is highly likely to be made permanent within the first 3 months. We are looking for someone who can start no later than 16th March.
