HR (ER) Manger | Doncaster | Permanent | £45,000 to £50,000
Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for an HR (ER) Manager for their respected client based near Doncaster. Working for a large, well established company you will have previous experience working in a Senior HR role and be up to date with employment law.

HR (ER) Manager – Responsibilities:
- Create the ER strategy for the next 12 - 24 Months
- Partner with senior managers and the people team to create a positive employee relations experience.
- Accountable for continuous improvement and best practices across the ER team. Always looking for ways to improve processes within the team
- Key transformation Project accountability - large scale change support
- Define and develop key procedures for the business to support internal processes (Grievance, Disciplinaries, settlements etc)
- Upskill Leaders to feel confident when dealing with ER cases
- Accountability for the high-profile cases within the team
- Support the development of the ER/Admin team
- Crisis management and able to support reactive employment relations issues
- Technology within the team and ensuring the team maximise the people system to enable efficiencies within the team
- Work in partnership with the inhouse Legal team to support key cases and mitigate risk to the business
- Work with External Partners to support the continuous improvement of the team
- Support the creation of key policies and ongoing maintenance of policies across the business
- Key relationship with the PR team to mitigate external risk to the business
- Proactively lead key programs of work to develop and improve ways of working within the team
- Provide key Data to the leadership team around the ER caseload including key themes and trends
- Established external network to keep up to date around updated case law
- Coach and support leaders with employment relations advice and guidance
HR (ER) Manager - Experience:
- Solid understanding of UK employment law
- Experience of Acquisitions
- Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills
- High-quality judgment and sound decision-making
- Ability to establish partnerships working with senior leaders across the organisation
- Acts with a sense of urgency, fast pace, and desire to thrive in a growing organisation
- Experience of leading an ER team
- Ability to operate in significant ambiguity and advise in ‘grey areas’ of employee relations
- Ability to simplify key cases and ensure that the team are prioritising
- Strong project and time management skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks
- Strong team player to collaborate within the team
- Proven attention to detail and organised
- G Suite knowledge desirable
- CIPD Desirable but not essential
