Environmental, Health & Safety Administrator/Officer – Mansfield – Permanent - £20,000 to £25,000 per annum

Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for an Environmental, Health & Safety Administrator / Officer for their respected client based in Mansfield. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours, usually working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. This role requires occasional UK & Ireland wide travel and therefore a UK driving licence is essential. Please note after around a year in the position the travel and overnight stays will increase.
It is essential that you have a Health and Safety Qualification (preferably NEBOSH General Certificate) and you will ideally have an Environmental Qualification, also being computer literate and having the ability to easily pick up new systems is a must.
You will also have proven experience of EHS systems and an understanding of ISO45001 and ISO14001.
Report to the EHS Manager, initially the role will be primarily office-based and administrative, working on EHS document maintenance, incident reviews, COSHH and other risk assessments,
Assist in local audits and act as the first point of contact for EHS queries.
Have a longer-term development plan to up-skill into lead auditing and fire risk assessment in clinics across the UK & Ireland.
