Complaints Administrator - Nottingham - 6 months FTC - £20,000

Cherry Professional is looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to join a friendly and vibrant team to manage their end to end complaints process. The organisation is a well known and highly successful Insurance organisation based in the heart of Nottingham. A passion for delivering excellent Customer Service and take pride in the ability to ensure customers receive the right level of support every time is required for this role. 


Responsibilities
- To acknowledge, investigate and respond to all companies’ complaints and escalated customer complaints
- To issue holding responses (when appropriate) and final responses to the complainant within regulatory timescales
- To support all Third Party Complaints Handlers including execution of a desktop audit programme
- To review and provide sign off for complaint responses, Financial Ombudsman Service referrals and ex gratia payments
- To assess current complaints data and loading and amend where applicable
- To update the in-house complaints data system
- To reconcile transactions processed to ensure that the transactions processed have achieved the results expected
- To provide assistance to colleagues and any other department in the group as required

Ideal Person
- Basic knowledge of MS office, Word and Excel
- Full understanding of regulatory guidance and timescales in relation to complaints handling
- Good attention to detail together with the ability to consider the bigger picture
- Good communication skills
- Able to work as an individual or as part of a team
- Able to meet tight deadlines and deliver a high degree of accuracy
