Employment Services Support Officer Derby  £30,000 - £35,000

Cherry Professional are currently recruiting an Employment Services Support Officer to assist our client’s staff in offering a compliant and quality service to their participants on a variety of employment services contracts.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the ESSO will process information around job starts, outcomes and provide in-work support to customers, whilst gathering the ongoing management information for monthly claims and reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work with new customers and carry out thorough assessments and inductions onto the programmes, ensuring each new participant is sign-posted for CV building and Better off Calculation support.
-Contribute to the development and monitoring of the Minimum Service Levels and Business Planning through full staff workshops on an annual basis and team meetings and appraisals.
-Conducting weekly compliance checking activity to contract specifications and ensuring non compliances closed in agreed timescales.
-Dispensing petty cash to customers, checking records of receipts, recording outgoings on data analysis sheet and ordering and collecting cash from bank.
-Acting as first contact for operational updates to contracts and ensuring that operational staff are updated in a timely and appropriate manner.
-Being aware of policies, updating teams with new information and performing and overseeing physical on-site compliance checks.
-Booking a variety of appointments with new customers and making new customer calls prior to start date on a weekly basis as well as supporting advisors to book outstanding appointments.
- Using Management Information systems to produce weekly performance data for centre manager and providing analysis for weekly performance meetings and advisor reviews.

DUTIES:
-Call employers to gain information on recruitment needs to support programme delivery.
-Using Microsoft Office applications for drafting letters, reports and other documents as required, including typing agendas, taking and issuing of minutes as and when required.
-Keeping an up to date pipeline record of job starts and potential starts and feeding back to the team and management daily
-Ensuring leaver notifications are processed and exit reports produced and returned to JCP within the 10 days of notification.
-Deal with enquiries from participants, general public and businesses by phone or email regarding services and contracts in a polite and efficient manner
-Support delivery staff with interventions including in work support and checks.
-Track participant progress during and after programme end for MI purposes.
-Ensuring all job start and job outcome information is recorded correctly
-Assist with events, exhibitions and open days as and when required.
-Greet and serve refreshments to visitors within the department as and when required.
-Carrying out reception duties within the staff rota.
 
All applicants require a full clean driving license and have their own transport.
There is also a requirement to pass an Enhanced DBS check which will be paid for by our client.
