Interim Treasury Manager - 3 Months - £300 per day We are proud to be working with a well established retail business, based in Leicester. They are looking for a pro-active and hands on Treasury Manager to start ASAP. This would suit someone with a background in retail, who has managed cashflow and is used to dealing with complex monthly reconciliations. There is potential for this role to become permanent at the end of the contract for the right candidate. What you'll be doing; Daily cash-flow reporting 12 week cash-flow forecasting Variance analysis Complex monthly reconcilliations Investigative work What we're looking for; 2 years' PQE in external audit (in either practice or industry) Experience of preparing reconciliations (statutory and also monthly balance sheet) Experience of capital accounting would be beneficial Good attention to detail and accuracy Proactive individual who can work independently and multitask effectively Good communication skills and able to deal with individuals across the organisation at all levels "Can do" attitude and prepared to muck in to support the wider organisation Advaced Excel skills
Part Time Finance Manager
£43000 - £47000 per annum
Part Time Finance Manager | Nottingham | 3 - 4 Days a week Cherry Professional are working with a well-known, highly successful service business who have just moved into brand new offices in Nottingham. The brand has a strong track record of growth and a notable footprint in London which is now expanding across the UK. To compliment the level of expansion they are experiencing, they are looking to recruit a part time Finance Manager who can support them through there next phase of growth. Reporting to the MD, you will be supervising a team of two Finance Assistants. The key objective is to bring the finance function in-house and create a framework which enables future growth. The environment compliments a driven individual who is ambitious, innovative and able to deliver. Sitting within the Senior Management team, this role offers high level exposure and visibility across the business. Role Overview… The position is currently part-time (24-30) hours per week, with flexibility over 3 or 4 days and requires a qualified accountant with at least 5 years' experience, ideally within a financial management position, including both strategic and operational financial management. As Finance Manager you will be working very closely with the MD and will play a critical role in ensuring the overall effective financial management/reporting and actively contribute towards the financial planning and strategic growth of the organisation. The day to day… - Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of the management accounts and appropriate financial reports - Managing and overseeing the preparation of all statutory returns, bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial compliance. - Business Partnering; providing appropriate advice as and when required on business planning, policy setting, strategic decision making and financial forecasting, including financial planning, budgets and forecasting. - Liaising with the company's IT department on the development and improvement of the accounting systems - Working closely and proactively with the Operations Manager ensuring that the Finance Function becomes embedded in the business and provides value-add financial advice. The business operates within the service sector and is looking for someone with an aptitude for analysis to provide insight and help maximise commercial performance. The role holder will be responsible for: Provide management information and commercial finance support to relevant business channels. The position of Pricing Manager sits within our clients B2B division in Nottingham. This function is responsible for the delivery of over 1000 pricing strategies and brokering major deals. You'll be the interface between the different markets, category teams and aim to deliver consistent propositions to their clients. The role is based in Nottingham and scheduled to last for an initial 12 months. Responsibilities: - Personal management of >£1m of bids - Meeting with existing clients to understand needs and using this to tailor pricing - Conception and delivery of major pricing projects - Regular pricing support for over 50 core products - Managing tender responses, planning and execution of successful negotiation & pricing strategies - Helping sales teams to win new business and retain existing business through creative, innovative and tailored pricing solutions. About you: - Impeccable attention to detail, comfortable with large data sets and is able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment - Previous experience working with B2B pricing strategy would be a real advantage - Experience in financial reporting and a clear understanding of the make-up of margin - Comfortable going beyond boundaries, a strategic networker that seeks win-win solutions - You will be liaising with a number of different internal stakeholders that range from your team and Pricing Managers, to the Marketing and Product teams and senior Managers / Directors, so being a confident communicator with the ability to build strong rapport and credibility will be essential This role can pay up to £60,000 + up to 25% bonus + company car + healthcare + others.
