    Cherry Professional are recruiting for an ambitious business based in Burton, who are seeking to employ a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis.The position will be assisting the Purchase Ledger Manager in the day to day duties of the department and all staff, this is a full-time opportunity and will suit a proactive person who is comfortable taking on more responsibilities while adding value to the team.Key Responsibilities:Enter supplier invoices and creditsQuery any disputed purchase invoices with person responsible for ordering or the supplierPrepare invoices for payment and ensure they are signed offIdentify invoices that need paid promptly and within credit termsOn a monthly basis complete supplier reconciliation to ensure creditors listing is accurateEnsure month end close off is completedTo assist in the creation of purchase orders to send to suppliersIdeal Person:A minimum of two years' experience working in purchase ledgerWorking knowledge of MS ExcelStrong attention to detailExcellent organisational skills and have the ability to meet deadlines.What will you get in return: Competitive salary of up to £19,000Onsite parking, staff discounts and company pensionWorking in newly renovated modern officesA supportive, friendly and personable working environment.Jobs you may have applied for include; Purchase Ledger Administrator, Purchase Ledger Assistant, Accounts Payable Administrator or Accounts Payable Assistant.Cherry Professional are recruiting this role on behalf of the Client.
