  • Interim Financial Analyst

    Cherry Professional are working with a well-established organisation based in Derby to recruit an Interim Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Finance Director the role will support the ongoing development of financial models and long term strategic planning. Responsibilities will include* Maintaining a financial model that accurately reflects the changing operational assumptions and monthly actual results from the business* Updating the monthly accounts pack with the latest model and actual result* Modelling and calculating key financial ratios and covenant* Reconciling and explaining changes in the outputs to key stakeholder* Performing sensitivity analysis as require* Managing the key risks associated with the forecast* Modelling ad-hoc requests from the owners or the directors to assess the impact of business opportunities* Supporting refinancing projects by modelling the impact of changes to the capital structure Experience sought* Qualified Accountant* Strong Excel with financial modelling ability* Finance Business Partnering * Ability to communicate financial results and concepts to people outside of the finance department. This role will suit a self-motivated individual looking for the chance to be at the centre of a stable and interesting business. The role is on a Fixed Term Contract initially, but could progress to a permanent position.
