What makes a good Accountant?
Accountants are essential for business growth, using their expertise to steer important financial decisions, applying integrity and intelligence.
Accountants are Qualified and are trained in bookkeeping and in preparation, auditing and analysis of accounts. Accountants prepare annual reports and financial statements for planning and decision making, and advise on tax laws and investment opportunities.
There are several different disciplines which Accountants can specialise in:
- Management accounting - helping managers understand how to run the business.
- Financial accounting - providing financial information to investors or government regulators about a business or even a whole sector.
