Inventory Controller | Retford | Permanent | Up to £28,000 | Annual Bonus
Cherry Professional are looking for an Inventory Controller. Responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and tracking of all incoming materials, including customer-owned goods. This role ensures accurate inventory control, verifies shipment records, and resolves any issues related to deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments against purchase orders, delivery notes, and customer documentation
- Maintain control and accurate records of customer-owned goods, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Log all incoming materials and shipments in the inventory management system with precise labelling and identification
- Resolve any issues related to misdirected or incorrect goods by coordinating with suppliers, couriers, and customers as needed
- Maintain and verify records of all incoming materials, including customer-owned goods and internal supplies
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking and perform regular stock counts to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels of all incoming materials, alert relevant teams when reorder thresholds are reached, and suggest replenishment quantities
Ideal Candidate:
- Familiarity with goods receiving procedures and stock management systems
- Experience within stock control, or goods-in role preferable
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Basic IT skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
