Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Material Handling company. They are looking for a Depot Manager to join their close knit and thriving team.
Responsibilities:
- Full management of depot operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team to deliver outstanding results.
- Managing P&L
- Optimise depot layout, maintain a clean and organised environment, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure staff are trained and confident in new systems and processes.
- Uphold and champion Health & Safety standards, compliance, and best
- Manage the forklift service budget
- Ensuring SLA’s are adhered to
- Maintaining high levels of health and safety within the service department environments i.e. workshops, office and customer sites.
- Keeping our staff safe is important to us and you will be a key member of the leadership team
- Carry out service team 1-2-1 / appraisals to ensure visibility of performance and employee engagement

- A focus on customer requirements and expectations with the ability to meet or exceed these from an individual and team perspective
- Commercial outlook and mindset which facilitates profitable growth of the depot and wider company/group
- Planning and forecasting from a number of perspectives. Financial, workforce, aftersales and service.
- Maintaining high levels of health and safety within the depot and for your teams. Keeping out staff safe is important to us and you will be a key member of the leadership team.
