Danielle meets Sir Paul Smith in Nottingham

Danielle from Cherry Professional met Sir Paul Smith at the Nottingham Contemporary last night (1 December 2010).

Sir Paul is a legend in international design and this was a rare and inspirational opportunity to gain an insight into the man who regularly puts Nottingham on the world stage. From a small shop, very near Nottingham Contemporary on Byard Lane, he has grown his business to an international exemplar, with Paul Smith stocked throughout 75 countries, including 200 across Japan.

Danielle commented, 'We've recently placed a candidate with Paul Smith and also the Nottingham Contemporary so I was really pleased to be invited to Sir Paul's lecture. As a Director of another Nottingham born business with plans to grow, I found Sir Paul's talk very inspiring. He was very down to earth and is a living Nottingham legend. I was lucky enough to chat to him at the end and he signed a business card for me (please see below), let's hope some of his success rubs off!
