    Cherry Professional are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant in a Manufacturing business in North Derbyshire, on a permanent basis. This post will report directly to the Management Accountant and will provide support and all round assistance within finance. As part of a busy and dedicated team the successful Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:- Process various intercompany transactions, prepare monthly reconciliations and revaluations- Purchase ledger invoice and processing- Issue monthly sales ledger statements- Preparation and reconciliation of quarterly VAT returns- Invoice coding and inputting on to the system- Answering internal and external queries- Process credit card and expense claims- Maintain sub-ledger reports- Reconciliations of the creditor statement.The role requires excellent IT skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to communicate at all levels and good inter-personal skills. In the role you will be responsible for financial control and the understanding of all areas of the balance sheet, statutory reporting and tax compliance.
